event management
It's hard to beat the feeling of building an event from scratch and seeing a crowd of ecstatic faces when it all comes together. Events are the core of any vibrant community and the cornerstone of any meaningful local marketing effort. For the last 12 years, I've had the pleasure of organizing and managing events across the PNW.

Sisters Fresh Hop Festival 2022
In September '22, I organized the 11th annual Sisters Fresh Hop Festival at the Three Creeks Production Brewery & Tasting Room in Sisters. The event hosted fresh hop beer from 20+ Oregon breweries alongside live music, food carts and vendors while raising money for local charities Ronald McDonald House Bend and Circle of Friends.
This year's festival broke ticket sales and revenue records with a total attendance over 1,500. This allowed Three Creeks Brewing to make a donation of more than $10,000 to our charity partners
As the primary organizer, I took the lead in every aspect of the process from selling sponsorship packages, recruiting breweries, booking artists and vendors to distributing all print/digital assets through through paid print/digital/radio advertising. Collaborating with internal staff and partners was essential in building a successful foundation to re-launch this renowned Central Oregon festival.

Summer Kickoff Party 2022
It was a pleasure to kick off Summer '22 by organizing the first event held at the Three Creeks Production Brewery and Tasting Room since the beginning of the pandemic. Building upon increased Memorial Day Weekend traffic in Sisters and our annual sponsorship of The Sisters Stampede (largest mountain bike race in OR), I coordinated with our staff to host a Summer Kickoff Party with live music, food trucks, yard games, bikes and brews.
Go Skate Day 2019
Go Skate Day is always one of the highlights of the summer. For 2019, I teamed up with Vans to throw parties for the local communities at WJ Skatepark in Eugene, OR and Ponderosa Skatepark in Bend, OR. With a stack of Vans shoes and skate gear up for grabs, more than 100 skaters showed up at each location to slap some high fives, chow on free pizza, get down to our live DJ and compete in mini challenges around the parks.
